Hot Band Boys: January 2013: Interview with The Como Brothers Band
Hot Band Boys is starting off the new year with an interview from this self-described “pop/rock/blues/songwriting” band, The Como Brothers Band from Long Island, NY. This interview is made up entirely of fan questions because of the wonderful response from fans.
What are your favorite…
In the words of My Buddy:
I’m not entirely sure why this song affects me the way it does. It swells and leads us through a gentle yet palpable rendering of a deeper story. The composition, lyrics and soundscape are credit to Julie in first place and her collaborators.
I’m captured by trippin’ the light, in part ‘cause its easy to identify with the emotions behind the composition. After all, that’s what entertainment is about. Isn’t it ?
The interplay between compelling story and soundscape has the potential to make this a hit record. Its an example of the musical skill and engineering attention to detail
on this album.

As we travel around the country we keep hearing people say there is a ‘War on Christmas’. This Transformer at Mellow Mushroom in Panama City Beach might have started it.

From the Department of Awesome Natural Wonders comes this impressive geological formation - an enormous rock perfectly balanced atop a smooth mound. Located deep inside the forests of Finland, the balancing rock is called Kummakivi:
“There is still no scientific explanation for how the rock, whose given name translates as ‘strange rock’ in Finnish, has wound up in such a perplexing position.”
However it happened, it’s a pretty awesome sight. But we don’t recommend standing under it for too long.

LYRICS:
TWENTY THREE
Well I thought i knew it all when i was twenty three
With my head stuck in the clouds how am i supposed to see?
You used to tell me son. money doesn’t grow on trees
But now i know you wanted the best for me
Take me back to when I was young
Back in time when my problems were yours
You don’t know what It means to me
Turning me inside out
Well my father said it best some people never change
And if i knew then what i know now id probably feel the same
I am my fathers son, you mean the world to me
You know i know i owe you everything
Take me back to when I was young
Back in time when my problems were yours
You don’t know what this means to me
Turning me inside out
I know you know
I know you know
You know I know
I know you know…
Take me back to when I was young
Back in time when my problems were yours
You don’t know what this means to me
Turning me inside out
